Warren, Ohio is a historic city with an amazing past. I want to bring my passion and skills to impact the future of this city.
In recent decades, the leadership in Warren has become stagnant and people are weary of broken promises and excuses.
Like many of the citizens I’ve heard from, I am also Sick & Tired. Enough is Enough, Warren needs modern dynamic leadership. Warren needs somebody who will tackle the crime problem and clean up our community. Warren Deserves real change and I offer the voters a choice for a non-typical politician that’s capable, educated and hard working.

I’m the kind of person that rolls up his sleeves and isn’t afraid to tackle tough problems, not just with talk but ACTIONS to actually fix things. That’s what Working for Warren means. I make just one simple promise to the people: I’ll work harder at this job than any job that I’ve ever had.

RESILIENT

Designing resilient communities means creating places that are able to adapt to change and quickly recover from environmental, social or economic shifts. Resilience acknowledges that communities will face change – sometimes dramatic change – and prepares them to weather it.

HEALTHY

Public health and the design of cities are inextricably intertwined; the way we build our communities has a profound affect on our physical and mental health. In addition to providing for all of our basic needs — shelter, food and the space to move around freely — healthy communities ensure residents benefit from access to education, housing, jobs, the ability to live without fear of violence, freedom from environmental hazards and a meaningful built environment. Whether designing cities that are walkable, integrating artwork to ease the mental pressure of urban life, or incorporating green spaces in the densest downtown core, design can create healthier communities.

INSPIRING

In the world’s most livable cities, arts and culture blend with bustling business, shopping, and entertainment districts to create desirable places to live, work and play. These leading cities inspire and connect inhabitants, while promoting the healthy lifestyles that make them places where people enjoy spending time and achieve prosperity. Around the world, people are moving to urban cores, drawn there by a desire to belong and engage with communities of distinctive, authentic character.
I want that for Warren, Ohio!

WELCOME

Cities that are designed people-first enhance the public experience and bring solutions to urban planning that are connected, resilient, healthy and emotionally rich. By privileging the individual experience and learning from the past, we focus on sustaining the relationships that make cities viable in the century to come.

INNOVATION

Cities like Warren, Ohio need to innovate to survive. Ken MacPherson's background is all about innovation. Warren's greatest asset is our people, homes, and perfect place to raise a family. Our history as a city is all about being pioneers in innovation like: cars, lightbulbs, and steel making. Now 100 years later, the City of Warren can welcome new residents and business by offering innovative services like a self service public portal for citizens to not only report, but TRACK the progress of a complaint or suggestion. Mayor MacPherson would help provide efficient ways of organizing people's lives as they relate to city services. Mayor MacPherson will help transform Warren into a modern city that helps better the standard of living, increase community cohesion, wellness and happiness while progressing towards sustainable development.

PROGRESS

Just because a city is small doesn’t mean it can’t be innovative. Through a suite of online tools, Mayor MacPherson will connect the people with processes that serve them.
